I haven't been blogging too much because life has been a little crazy. Big changes and little changes- but overall just a lot of changes. In the end everything is wonderful and I'm also pregnant! I'm actually full term, and the baby's due date is Christmas day (we are hoping HE will make his grand enterance earlier). I'm going for an all natural birth, so say a prayer for me if you remember!
Also, I found this new blog; Food Wishes and it is just so amazing. Tonight I made his "End of Chicken Parmesan As You Know It" and it was so easy and good. Plus, half the fat and grease and all that not so good for you stuff.

Colors In Culture
Amazing chart! It's so important when designing, or charting or graphing for clients to understand what certain colors mean to them... their culture or their line of work. Don't randomly pick red for your chart that you will be presenting to a financial company, or choose green to design the business cards for a mediation guru. But don't take my word for it (reading rainbow) use the chart!.

Why I love Van Gogh
I love him for his use of complimentary color. He uses the full range of the paired colors and you never miss a thing.
"Color expresses something in itself;
they express the love of two lovers
they express the love of two lovers
by a wedding of two complementary
colors, their mingling and their opposition,
the mysterious vibrations of kindred tones."
Vincent Van Gogh

Zoe Keating
I've been listening to Zoe Keating a lot lately... I found her a couple of years ago, and I feel like I've just rediscovered her music. Take a listen... enjoy.

I love the Central Coast
On a whim, hubs, baby boy and I will be going for a day trip out to Santa Cruz this Saturday. I am so excited, I can hardly stand it. I can't wait to smell that pacific ocean air, and see the sun! I've been stuck in an office building all week, and by the time I'm off the clock the sun has set.
Totally craving our favorite El Palomar and trying out dessert at The Crepe Place. I can't wait to see Anthony run on the boardwalk, after seagulls, and try to in the sand... can't wait to see him stop and point at every little thing he sees for the first time- which will probably be a lot of things. Can't wait for the drive back, when Anthony will be asleep in the back, and we drive along PCH and under the Golden Gate and through Wine Country to get back home. It'll be brilliant, so much anticipation for Saturday!

Mocha ala Gabita
I'm not too big on coffee but I've started a new job and everyone drinks coffee and the smell is always lingering in the air. I have my morning green tea, but right after lunch I can't resist having a bit of coffee. However, the office brew is too strong for this weakling so (I usually go home for lunch, and I get to see my boys!) after lunch I brew myself a pretty weak cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee, add some Archer Farms Hot Dark Chocolate mix and I am as happy as a duck. Sometimes, I even let a small square of Trader Joe's dark chocolate melt on the bottom of my cup, surprise!
